Already with a line of footwear and apparel inspired by the look streetwear skater of the 80’s released in the market in the month of August, the Puma makes reference to the decade once more in two collections of tennis shoes that were released in the month of September, only now to be inspired by the technology of the time.
The first, released on the 8th, makes apology to the trademark Polaroid. In homage to the 80 years of the brand that pioneered instant photography, Puma created the models RS-0 and RS-100, which were made in black and white with the iconic colors of the rainbow on the tongue and on the outsole, resembling very much the classic cameras of the Polaroid.
The shoes can already be found in physical stores and virtual Puma, but only in Europe for now. On the official website european, the RS-0 costs 120 euros and the RS-100 is 100 euros. Has not yet been announced when the collection will be launched globally.
Unlike the PUMA X POLAROID, the second collection, the PUMA X SEGA, was released here in Brazil on day 18, despite the fact that she was already on the american market since the month of June. In this collection, the sneakers were manufactured in the same mold of the RS-0 of Polaroid, but its colors allude to the two well-known characters in the world of games, the blue hedgehog Sonic and the villain Robotnik.
The model RS-0 SEGA Sonic comes in the color blue with details in red, remembering the shoes that the character wears during the games, while the RS-0 SEGA Eggman comes all in black with some details in red and yellow, referring to the garments of the antagonist, Robotnik, aka Dr. Eggman.
